Child Well‑Being Development Facilitator

About the role

The Child Well‑Being Development Facilitator will work with local communities to promote the rights, protection and participation of children, especially the most vulnerable. You will coordinate community engagement, partnership building and sponsorship activities to improve child well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate World Vision’s mission and values, ensuring child sponsorship is integrated into broader community engagement.
• Develop a deep understanding of the local context, government plans, and the voices of children and youth.
• Facilitate partnerships with local stakeholders, NGOs, businesses and government agencies to mobilise resources for child well‑being.
• Lead community‑based planning, disaster preparedness and annual review processes.
• Support the Child Well‑Being (CWB) Committee in child selection, monitoring and protection mechanisms.
• Use smartphones and monitoring systems to track sponsorship data and report outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education, public health, community development, social work or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in community development, program implementation and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working with children, ethnic minorities and vulnerable groups.
