Community Health System Strengthening Project Coordinator (Level 2)

About the role

The Community Health System Strengthening (CHSS) Project Coordinator-2 will work closely with provincial and district health offices to adapt and implement project activities that improve maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH) in vulnerable communities. This role ensures that project plans, budgets, and impact stories are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with government counterparts to tailor project implementation to local contexts and mitigate risks.
• Organize training, coaching, and mentoring for Village Health Volunteers (VHVs) on technical curricula.
• Prepare and submit impact stories, monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual and annual reports, as well as detailed implementation and budget plans.
• Coordinate with partner project coordinators to ensure equitable coverage of villages and activities.
• Conduct regular monitoring, spot‑checks, and data analysis in partnership with the MEAL team.
• Represent World Vision at district and health centre levels to strengthen partnerships and ensure sustainability.
• Liaise with finance and administration for procurement, budgeting, and payment processes.

Required profile

• Experience working with health ministries, district health offices, or NGOs in community health projects.
• Strong reporting skills with ability to produce evidence‑based documentation.
• Ability to travel to remote field sites and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
