Country Project Coordinator – DR Congo (Consortium)

About the role

The Country Project Coordinator (CPC) in the Democratic Republic of Congo will lead the coordination of five Local Humanitarian Partners within the ToGETHER consortium. Reporting to the consortium focal point and the Programme Management Unit, the CPC ensures that capacity‑building activities are delivered effectively, transparently and in line with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate cooperation among the five participating Local Humanitarian Partners to support joint capacity‑building processes.
• Manage implementation, financial reporting and compliance with the German Federal Foreign Office (AA) requirements, including audit queries and evaluations.
• Prepare and submit timely reports in the required language to the consortium focal point and Programme Management Unit.
• Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct, audit procedures and other compliance obligations for the DR Congo project.
• Liaise with local staff, partner organisations and programme advisors to address operational issues and support effective humanitarian response.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating humanitarian projects or programmes, preferably in the DR Congo or similar contexts.
• Strong understanding of donor reporting, financial management and audit processes.
• Ability to work with multiple local partners and navigate multi‑sectoral humanitarian interventions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
