Data Analyst – Third‑Party Monitoring for Health & Education Programs in DRC

About the role

Montrose is seeking a full‑time Data Analyst to join a consultancy team supporting the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) third‑party monitoring of two new human development programmes in the Kasai province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role focuses on health (SEMI) and education (AXE‑FILLEs) interventions for women and girls.

Key responsibilities

• Verify programme delivery using a sampling approach to ensure compliance with project objectives.
• Assess and improve monitoring systems, data collection processes and data management tools.
• Provide evidence‑based analysis to support British Embassy Kinshasa reviews.
• Identify best practices, joint impacts, lessons learned and recommendations for programme strengthening.

Required profile

• Demonstrated Monitoring & Evaluation experience on large, complex programmes.
• Background in women and girls programming, particularly in health and education sectors.
• Previous experience working with FCDO or similar development agencies is preferred.
• Fluent written French and English.
