Data and Analytics Manager (Health/ISMT) – 6-Month Temporary Appointment

About the role

The Data and Analytics Manager will provide technical and operational leadership for the Data, Digital Health Information Systems and Modeling pillar of the Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Reporting to the Country Office, the incumbent will ensure that reliable, real‑time data drive decision‑making for vulnerable children and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strengthening of national Ebola data management and governance systems.
• Integrate and harmonise digital surveillance platforms, ensuring interoperability with existing health information systems.
• Guarantee data quality, timeliness and strategic use across the response.
• Develop and oversee advanced epidemiological analyses and modelling to inform outbreak trends.
• Produce operational dashboards and regular epidemiological reports for the COUSP and Ministry of Health.
• Support coordination with national authorities, UN partners and NGOs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in health data management, digital health information systems and epidemiological modelling, preferably in emergency or outbreak settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and work with government and UN stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making.
