Director of Product – AI Accounting for Sports, Media & Entertainment

About the role

VectorOne is building the next‑generation office of the CFO for the Sports, Media and Entertainment (SME) sector. As Director of Product, you will lead the creation of an AI‑driven accounting platform that transforms how finance teams operate in this fast‑moving industry.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting subject‑matter expert guiding product design, development and validation for the SME accounting platform.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists and engineers to translate complex accounting processes into AI‑enabled features and workflows.
• Define business requirements, compliance considerations and industry‑specific nuances to ensure the solution meets regulatory standards.
• Review and validate product outputs for completeness, accuracy and audit readiness.
• Shape product strategy while executing on roadmap milestones, balancing long‑term vision with short‑term delivery.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting or finance within the Sports, Media and Entertainment industries.
• Proven track record of leading product development for AI‑enabled or technology‑focused financial solutions.
• Strong understanding of compliance, audit and regulatory requirements in the SME sector.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional technical teams and influence product direction.
