English Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time remote English Teacher to deliver engaging, learner‑centered instruction to students of various ages and proficiency levels. The position is based in Kinshasa, DRC, and focuses on high‑quality online language education.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, and deliver live virtual English lessons.
• Prepare lesson plans and adapt materials for different age groups and proficiency levels.
• Assign, review, and provide constructive feedback on student work.
• Track learner progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with learners, families, or stakeholders.
• Participate in occasional training sessions and collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum.
• Utilize digital tools to create an interactive and inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Strong English teaching experience with diverse learners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant degree (English, Education, Linguistics, or related field) – preferred.
• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or similar certification – an advantage.
• Experience with online teaching platforms and learning management systems.
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to maintain a consistent full‑time remote schedule.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner‑centered teaching practices.
• Residency in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, based in Kinshasa.
