Head of IT (French Speaking)

About the role

The Head of IT will ensure that technology drives business growth, operational excellence and security across the organisation. Reporting to the COO, this senior leader will work with regional and global technology teams, business units and external vendors to deliver the company’s IT strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an IT strategy aligned with corporate objectives, identifying technology opportunities that create value.
• Lead, mentor and develop the IT team, fostering innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage the IT budget and resources to achieve cost‑efficient utilisation.
• Oversee infrastructure, networks, systems and operations to guarantee reliability, performance and security.
• Drive cybersecurity programmes and ensure compliance with governance, risk‑management and data‑privacy standards.
• Evaluate, recommend and roll out emerging technologies that meet business needs.
• Champion digital transformation, change‑management activities and data‑driven decision making.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Maintain vendor relationships and monitor service‑level agreements.
• Support audit processes, business continuity planning and adherence to corporate codes of conduct.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, ITIL or equivalent.
• Proven experience in senior IT leadership, strategic planning and budget management.
• Fluent French communication skills.
