HSE Compliance Officer – Offshore FPSO

About the role

The HSE Compliance Officer will ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of ENI's QHSE policies on an offshore FLNG‑FPSO project in Congo. This senior position requires hands‑on expertise in safety regulations, risk management, and operational compliance in a challenging offshore environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor ENI and contractor HSE policies, ensuring alignment with national and international regulations.
• Develop, write, and maintain QHSE procedures and documentation in English.
• Conduct gap analyses, internal audits, and follow‑up actions on QHSE topics.
• Coach and assess implementation of SIMOPS, COMOPS, JSA, dropped‑object prevention, ERT preparedness, PTW, and training programs both offshore and onshore.
• Provide technical guidance on process safety, occupational health risk management, and incident investigation.
• Liaise with terminal teams on near‑miss and incident reporting, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in FPSO maintenance and operation with a strong Q‑HSE focus.
• Valid BOSIET certification and fluency in English.
• In‑depth knowledge of OSHA and NEBOSH standards.
• Proven ability to work on 35‑day on‑site / 35‑day off rotation schedules.
