Hypercare Service Technician – Hydraulic & Electrical

About the role

We are seeking a Hypercare Service Technician specialized in hydraulic and electrical systems to support our mining operations. The role focuses on maintaining high reliability and performance of equipment in underground production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Support planning, preparation and documentation of maintenance activities, including root‑cause analysis and improvements.
• Conduct risk assessments, shift and incident reporting in line with safety procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance, report operational status and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with service operations, technical teams and customers to achieve key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / N3 technical qualification or equivalent.
• Section 13 Trade Certificate in Electrical, Millwright or Mechanical trades.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant mining experience, preferably in underground production.
• Ability to work shifts and stay away from home for the duration of the shift.
• Medical fitness and proficiency in English (French is a plus).

• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
