Import & Export Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Import & Export Business Development professional to grow our key account portfolio and drive revenue across international markets. The role combines proactive prospecting, relationship management and strategic selling to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts.
• Achieve monthly sales targets by identifying and acquiring new customers.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while upselling and cross‑selling to maximise share of wallet.
• Coordinate pre‑sales and post‑sales activities.
• Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs and revenue goals.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and provide competitor feedback.
• Identify new business opportunities through lead follow‑up and client research.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in B2B sales or account executive roles, preferably in the services sector.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer and communication skills.
• Goal‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong team player able to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Effective networker and relationship builder.
