Information Management Officer (Temporary, 364 days)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an Information Management Officer to support nutrition programming in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Working under the Nutrition Specialist, you will transform raw nutrition data into actionable insights, ensuring optimal use of existing systems and contributing to evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and validate nutrition data from KoboToolBox, SINUT, DHIS2 and other sources.
• Conduct quality control, analysis, and synthesis to produce strategic dashboards.
• Provide decision‑making support and capacity‑building to field teams.
• Develop information‑management products, ensure data quality, and coordinate GIS mapping.
• Maintain and improve Management Information Systems (MIS) for nutrition monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in information management or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, or evaluating MIS.
• Fluency in English and French; experience in the DRC or with UN agencies is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
