IT Risk & Governance Specialist

About the role

The Specialist in IT Risk & Governance will coordinate risk, governance and security capabilities across the IT function. You will ensure that frameworks, standards and controls are implemented, monitored and continuously improved to protect the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Operational Control framework and Permanent Control Plan for the IT department.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, manage audit findings and recommendations.
• Drive deployment of security policies, processes and incident management.
• Identify, mitigate and follow up on security risks.
• Monitor the health of the security system, handle alerts and security incidents.
• Develop and enhance the IT security posture and maturity.
• Provide reporting for all coverage areas.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advise, train and raise awareness.
• Stay updated on market best practices and align with BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Group requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT risk, security, continuity, control, compliance, reporting or project management.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
