Lead Civil Engineer – Industrial & Agricultural Projects

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Civil Engineer to drive the design, coordination, and construction of a new abattoir facility. The role involves overseeing civil works, structural steel buildings, cold‑room installations, and the integration of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, design coordination, and construction supervision for the abattoir project.
• Oversee reinforced concrete works such as foundations, slabs, drainage, underground tanks, and equipment bases.
• Supervise erection of structural steel buildings, roofing, and support platforms.
• Coordinate installation of cold rooms, refrigeration systems, and related structural supports.
• Ensure integration of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical components in compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources while liaising with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Conduct site inspections, enforce safe construction practices, and provide technical support to related infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial, agricultural, or infrastructure construction.
• Proven experience with steel structures, reinforced concrete, and large‑scale industrial buildings.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
