MEL Course Facilitator Consultant for USAID DRC Mission

About the role

The USAID Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Mission, supported by SoCha, LLC, seeks experienced consultants to facilitate Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) training courses for mission staff and implementing partners. The short‑term assignment focuses on adapting and delivering a curriculum that aligns with USAID MEL guidelines and Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt existing MSSP MEL modules to suit different audiences (mission staff, partners, local firms).
• Develop new training materials and hands‑on session resources as needed.
• Facilitate training workshops according to the schedule agreed with MSSP and the Mission.
• Prepare site‑visit materials and frame modules to meet CLP requirements from the Bureau of Acquisition and Assistance.
• Assist MSSP in obtaining FAC certification for the courses.
• Measure pre‑ and post‑training learning outcomes and ensure target results are achieved.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering instruction on USAID project cycle management and MEL guidelines.
• Ability to tailor curriculum content for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with FAC certification processes and USAID reporting standards.
• Strong facilitation skills and experience measuring learning outcomes.
