MTC Manager

About the role

The MTC Manager is responsible for overseeing all non‑ecclesiastical functions of the Missionary Training Center (MTC). This includes directing training programs, managing finances, facilities, and human‑resource activities to ensure that missionary training outcomes are achieved in line with the Missionary Executive Council’s directives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise training staff, including teachers and teacher supervisors, to guarantee successful missionary preparation.
• Oversee financial operations, physical facilities, and human‑resource matters to maintain efficient MTC support services.
• Collaborate closely with the MTC President and other senior leaders to develop and implement management strategies.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the appointed Missionary Department representative for policy guidance and direction.

Required profile

• Holder of a valid temple recommend.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Education, Pedagogy or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a comparable managerial role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
