Programme Associate (G-6) – Fixed Term – Kinshasa

About the role

UNICEF is seeking three Programme Associates (G‑6) on a fixed‑term basis to support its country programme in Kinshasa. The role provides specialised programme and administrative support to ensure effective planning, implementation and reporting of UNICEF’s interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project management and partnership implementation across social policy, health and child protection sections.
• Manage data collection, analysis and reporting, ensuring accurate monitoring of programme results.
• Oversee grant management, budget tracking and financial reporting in line with UNICEF rules.
• Promote digital innovation and operational efficiency using tools such as SAP, Power BI and SharePoint.
• Facilitate communication, knowledge sharing and dissemination of programme outcomes.
• Support capacity‑building activities and organise events and trainings.
• Provide surge support and adapt to emerging programme needs.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education; a bachelor’s degree may replace three years of relevant experience, a master’s degree may replace an additional two years.
• Minimum six years of clerical or programme support experience, preferably at country level.
• Fluency in French; knowledge of another UN language (English, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
