Programme Quality and Development Coordinator

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position based in Kalemie, DRC, leads the programme quality team for Concern Worldwide. You will report to the Programme Director and manage the Grants Manager, M&E Coordinator and CRM Coordinator, ensuring high‑quality design, implementation and learning across all programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proposal development and ensure programme logic aligns with Concern’s strategy and Theory of Change.
• Oversee the full programme cycle, strengthening systems for implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
• Manage the complaints and response mechanism, ensuring systematic handling of stakeholder feedback.
• Coordinate research activities, liaise with external consultants and technical experts, and ensure findings are documented.
• Develop and disseminate fact‑sheets, videos and knowledge‑management products on programme quality.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in humanitarian programme design, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
• Proven line‑management experience, including coaching and performance management.
• Strong understanding of gender, protection and accountability mainstreaming in humanitarian contexts.

• Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) systems and tools.
• Complaints and Response Mechanism (CRM) processes.
• Proposal development and donor reporting.
• Research design and coordination (e.g., SMART, KAP surveys).
