Proposal Coordinator

About the role

The Proposal Coordinator will support the Head of Business Development and country programme staff to strengthen Save the Children’s funding base and partnerships. This role coordinates the end‑to‑end proposal development process, ensuring submissions are responsive, competitive and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proposal kick‑off meetings and produce detailed development timelines.
• Track progress across programmes, operations, MEAL, finance and other functions to keep proposals on schedule.
• Draft standard sections such as capability statements, country context and programme experience.
• Coordinate narrative writing with technical leads and oversee log‑frame development.
• Integrate child safeguarding, PSEAH and broader risk mitigation measures into proposals.
• Support the Head of Business Development in updating country funding strategies and donor engagement plans.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams in proposal development.
• Familiarity with donor requirements, safeguarding standards and grant management processes.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adjust working hours when needed.
