RECO Immunization Study Manager

About the role

The RECO Immunization Study Manager will lead a small‑scale pilot in Lomami province, DRC, testing community health workers as vaccinators. This senior position oversees all phases from study design through data analysis and dissemination, reporting to VillageReach and the donor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all stages of the pilot research, including protocol development, ethical approvals, training, data collection, analysis and dissemination.
• Supervise two Lomami‑based staff, conduct regular site visits, and ensure high‑quality implementation.
• Maintain the project workplan and budget, track timelines and spending, and provide routine status reports.
• Coordinate with VillageReach global technical teams and national stakeholders, supporting stakeholder engagement and advocacy.
• Ensure gender integration, quality assurance, and compliance with research ethics throughout the study.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience managing research or evaluation projects in health settings.
• Proven ability to work with government ministries, NGOs, and community partners.
• Strong project management and supervisory skills, with experience overseeing budgets and timelines.
