Rooms Division Manager

About the role

Kampi Ya Boma, an upscale hotel in Kolwezi, is looking for an experienced Rooms Division Manager to lead its Front Office, Housekeeping, and Laundry teams. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and ensuring smooth operational flow across the rooms division.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office, Reception, Housekeeping, and Laundry operations.
• Maintain superior guest service throughout the stay.
• Ensure rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and readiness.
• Manage room inventory, occupancy, and coordinate with Reservations.
• Develop, train, coach, and motivate departmental staff.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and improve productivity.
• Set and track departmental KPIs and service standards.
• Handle guest feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Security for seamless hotel operations.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hotel operations experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within Rooms Division or Front Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people‑management abilities.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Property Management System (PMS).
