Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking motivated Sales Specialists to join its Heavy Equipment division in the Democratic Republic of Congo. You will represent a global leader in machinery manufacturing, promoting a portfolio of agriculture, construction and mining equipment to new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets, pipeline and collection goals.
• Prospect, qualify and generate new leads for various product lines.
• Contact prospective clients through calls and visits to showcase products and services.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Maintain and update activities on the CRM system.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and customer needs.
• Prepare and submit weekly performance reports.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma (Matric/Grade 12); tertiary education is a plus.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in heavy equipment or related machinery.
• Technical aptitude for understanding machinery specifications and applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Own a reliable vehicle, laptop and cellphone.
