Senior Officer, Project Performance Support

About the role

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is seeking a Senior Officer to provide Project Performance Support within its Kinshasa Delegation. The role contributes to the design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of humanitarian programmes across the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burundi, the Republic of Congo and Rwanda.

Key responsibilities

• Support the effective design and implementation of programmes and operations funded by multiple donors.
• Assist in monitoring project performance against strategic objectives and donor requirements.
• Contribute to financial stewardship, ensuring accurate budgeting, tracking and reporting.
• Prepare and consolidate programme reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Programmes and Operations Department to ensure compliance with IFRC policies and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian programme management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of donor‑funded project cycles and reporting requirements.
• Ability to work in a multi‑country, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
