Superintendent – Forward Operating Base

About the role

The Superintendent will lead the establishment, management and coordination of Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) across designated sectors for Kamoto Copper Company. The role ensures rapid, coordinated response to security incidents, operational disruptions and community-related events, supporting the safety of personnel and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the set‑up and day‑to‑day operation of FOBs, aligning them with asset protection priorities and operational requirements.
• Coordinate rapid response to security incidents, including intrusions, theft, threats, community disturbances and emergencies, ensuring proper escalation and command structures.
• Supervise security personnel deployed to FOBs, manage staffing levels, duty rosters and performance, and promote a disciplined security culture.
• Maintain effective liaison with police and other authorized security stakeholders, ensuring lawful and coordinated actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security management or asset protection within industrial or mining environments.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage teams and multi‑agency interactions.
• Excellent understanding of security risk assessment, incident command and emergency response procedures.
