Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – 6‑Month TA in Bunia

About the role

The Supply & Logistics Manager reports to the Chief of Supply & Logistics and leads the supply chain for a medium‑to‑large country office and emergency response operations. Responsibilities cover planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, transport, distribution and monitoring of supplies and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Supply section, ensuring efficient service delivery and emergency response.
• Collaborate with programme teams and implementing partners to define and meet supply interventions.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government and national systems on supply chain matters.
• Drive innovation in products and markets to enhance supply chain effectiveness.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, International Development or related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant national and international experience in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting or related technical fields.
• Fluency in French and English; additional UN language or local language is an asset.
• Understanding of development and humanitarian contexts and ability to work under pressure.
