Technical Advisor – Malaria & Campaign Digitization

About the role

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a Technical Advisor to lead its malaria and campaign digitization program in Francophone Africa, with a primary focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role combines public‑health expertise, data‑driven analysis, and digital‑health implementation to accelerate reductions in malaria cases and deaths.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and scale digital tools that support malaria surveillance, diagnosis, treatment and vector‑control campaigns.
• Analyze epidemiological and program data to generate actionable insights for country teams and partners.
• Facilitate high‑level strategic discussions with government officials, NGOs, and multi‑disciplinary stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with CHAI’s regional malaria manager and DRC country malaria and digital‑health teams.
• Provide technical guidance and capacity‑building to local partners on data collection, management and use.

Required profile

• Strong background in public health, preferably with experience in malaria or other infectious‑disease programs.
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French proficiency is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently in a challenging environment.
• Proven ability to build relationships across multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
