Ambulance Driver

About the role

Watu Wetu SAS is seeking a qualified Ambulance Driver to provide emergency and medical transport services for employees and their families of Kamoto Copper Company SA and Mutanda Mining SARL. Working under the supervision of the Senior Ambulance Driver, you will ensure safe, comfortable, and timely patient transfers while collaborating closely with the medical team.

Key responsibilities

• Transport patients to appropriate medical facilities following Glencore Group transport regulations.
• Maintain ambulance cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality during each journey.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and unforeseen situations.
• Adhere strictly to traffic, road safety rules, and company policies.
• Participate in team meetings, strategy discussions, and continuing education programs.

Required profile

• Congolese nationality with a valid national driving license.
• Professional Aptitude Certificate or equivalent state diploma.
• At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Knowledge of first aid (asset) and basic computer tools.
• Fluency in French; Swahili and English are assets.
