Architect and Developer Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architect and Developer Manager to lead the design, development, and management of our FinTech ecosystem. The role will oversee critical components of our Mobile Money platform, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions for digital financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technical architecture for FinTech platforms, guaranteeing scalability, security, and high availability.
• Design micro‑services solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Establish API strategy and governance using APIGee, and manage the developer portal community.
• Oversee Kafka clusters for real‑time event streaming and messaging.
• Manage PostgreSQL (and Oracle) databases, optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration for micro‑services deployment.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure across On‑Prem, AWS, Azure, and GCP for cost, performance, and compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and grow development teams of architects and engineers.
• Drive DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to accelerate delivery.
• Implement security, data‑privacy, and regulatory‑compliance best practices.
• Stay current on emerging technologies (AI, ML, Big Data) and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development and architecture experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in FinTech or digital payments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
