Assistant Sales Representative

About the role

MarcTina Consultancy is seeking an Assistant Sales Representative on a contract basis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The position follows a hybrid work model, combining on‑site collaboration with remote flexibility. You will support the sales team by managing leads, preparing sales collateral, and ensuring smooth client onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospects and follow up on leads.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in CRM tools.
• Prepare sales materials, proposals, and quotations.
• Coordinate meetings, calls, and client communications.
• Gather market intelligence and track sales performance metrics.
• Contribute to reporting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer‑relationship abilities, including lead follow‑up and basic negotiation.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional regional language is a plus.
• Organizational skills for documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
• Experience in sales support, customer service, or business development, preferably in BPO, consulting, or professional services.
• Post‑secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using productivity suites such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with online collaboration tools.
