Automation Developer – RPA & Python Scripting

About the role

This position focuses on boosting operational efficiency by turning repetitive manual tasks into reliable automations using RPA tools and Python scripting. The role directly enhances customer and employee experiences by cutting turnaround time, reducing errors, and lowering costs while enabling teams to scale without additional headcount.

Key responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain automations with UiPath and Python to eliminate manual work.
• Translate business process requirements into automation designs with clear rules, validations, and exception handling.
• Develop UiPath workflows following best practices such as reusable components and queue‑based processing.
• Configure and manage deployments via UiPath Orchestrator (schedules, triggers, queues, assets, monitoring).
• Create Python scripts for data processing, reconciliation, report generation, file transfers, and API integrations.
• Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure production‑grade reliability.
• Define and execute testing (unit, integration, UAT) and provide evidence for audits.
• Ensure solutions meet security and compliance standards, handling sensitive data safely.
• Document end‑to‑end solutions, including process definitions, design, runbooks, and handover materials.
• Collaborate with business owners to measure value delivered (time saved, error reduction, throughput improvement).

Required profile

• Strong Python scripting experience for automation, including data handling, file operations, API calls, and scheduling.
• Ability to integrate scripts with REST APIs and backend systems, with proper logging and error handling.
• Proven skill in analyzing manual processes and designing automation solutions with clear inputs, outputs, business rules, and validations.
• Familiarity with documentation standards such as PDD/SDD, test cases, and runbooks.
• Hands‑on experience with UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator is a plus.
• Understanding of automation testing, production support, security, access control, and data protection.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and operational awareness.
