Budget, Finance and Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Budget, Finance and Procurement Specialist will provide professional‑level support to the Field Technology Section, ensuring that financial resources, procurement actions and contracts are managed efficiently and in line with United Nations regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor all budgetary, financial, procurement and contract management activities.
• Ensure resources are planned, allocated, tracked and utilized effectively to support mission priorities.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide analytical support for strategic decision‑making.
• Oversee procurement planning, vendor management and contract administration.
• Maintain compliance with UN financial and procurement regulations and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in budget formulation, financial analysis, and procurement planning.
• Strong understanding of UN financial and procurement rules.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage complex project finances.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
