Business Developer – Renewable Energy (Kinshasa)

About the role

Solution for Energy SAS is seeking a motivated Business Developer to drive growth in the renewable energy and solar photovoltaic market in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Based in Kinshasa, you will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and promote solar PV, hybrid, and battery storage solutions to a diverse range of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
• Develop and maintain relationships with private, public, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Monitor tender announcements, follow up on opportunities, and manage the bid process.
• Prepare compelling commercial proposals and quotations.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
• Promote solar photovoltaic, hybrid, and battery storage solutions.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall growth strategy.

Required profile

• Motivated and results‑driven attitude.
• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the energy or renewable sector.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with the DRC market is advantageous.
