Buyer – Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Buyer is responsible for managing all purchasing activities within the assigned area, ensuring that goods and services are obtained at the best value while supporting internal requesters.

Key responsibilities

• Perform price and vendor analysis for low‑complexity, low‑cost purchases.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders while maintaining best‑value outcomes.
• Explain procurement policies to requestors, resolve limited‑complexity issues, and provide product information.
• Source required goods and services under supervisor guidance.
• Complete limited‑complexity special projects as assigned.
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Developing professional with a solid understanding of effective purchasing principles.
