About the role
UNICEF is seeking a Chief of Communication (P‑5) for a fixed‑term 24‑month appointment based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role supports UNICEF’s mission to protect children’s rights and improve their wellbeing across a country of 113 million people, where 25.4 million individuals, including 14.9 million children, face violence, disease and extreme poverty. The Chief of Communication will contribute to UNICEF’s strategic communication efforts in a challenging environment marked by recurrent epidemics, displacement and limited access to basic services.
