Cleaning Agent for Oxfam Office

About the role

The Cleaning Agent will ensure daily cleanliness of Oxfam GB offices, meeting rooms, sanitary installations and guest house facilities in Bunia and Mungbwalu. The role also includes providing drinking water and refreshments for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily cleanliness of offices, meeting rooms, furniture and sanitary installations.
• Collect waste and ensure proper disposal.
• Prepare requisitions for cleaning supplies, drinking water, glasses, cups, tea, coffee, sugar and other refreshments.
• Provide clean drinking water and hot water for staff, night guards and drivers.
• Replace hand towels and ensure they are clean each day.
• Report defective equipment to the supervisor and follow up on repairs.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the administration officer.

Required profile

• Minimum State diploma or equivalent education.
• At least one year of experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Punctual, disciplined, honest and able to respect confidentiality.
• Good physical condition and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of cleaning techniques.
• Basic understanding of hygiene rules.
