Coaching & Mentorship Consultant – Health Supply Chain (30‑day)

About the role

Chemonics is seeking a short‑term Coaching and Mentorship Consultant to design and launch a capacity‑building program for government partners in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s health supply chain. The consultant will work closely with the Ministry of Public Health, GHSC‑TA Francophone Task Order staff, and the University of Kinshasa to develop coaching modules, pilot the program at the national level, and prepare for provincial scale‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing supply chain improvement plans and assessments to identify gaps.
• Adapt the coaching and mentorship program to address identified national‑level gaps.
• Engage Ministry of Health stakeholders to assess interest, availability, and feasibility of program enrollment.
• Analyze the target group’s readiness for capacity building and develop enrollment criteria.
• Create an action plan to capture and disseminate lessons learned for broader Ministry use.
• Support the University of Kinshasa School of Public Health in establishing master’s and bachelor’s programs in health logistics.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in health supply chain management and technical assistance.
• Proven ability to design and deliver coaching or mentorship programs.
• Familiarity with the DRC health system and public‑sector stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to assess supply chain gaps and training needs.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and report preparation.
