Compensation and Benefits Manager

About the role

Africell is looking for a Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead HR systems, reporting, outsourced workforce administration, employee support, and audit functions in Kinshasa. The role will ensure data integrity across HRIS and payroll platforms, provide accurate remuneration analytics, and safeguard payroll compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance of employee records.
• Prepare regular reports on payroll costs, benefits expenditure, and compensation trends for HR leadership.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits oversight for outsourced employees, validating files from agency partners.
• Provide clear support to employees on payslips, compensation structures, and remuneration policies.
• Implement payroll control mechanisms, conduct internal audits, and mitigate risks related to errors or fraud.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in payroll systems and benefits administration.
• In‑depth knowledge of DRC labor law and tax requirements (IRT/INSS).
• Proven ability to design compensation frameworks and benefits packages.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and influencing skills across diverse cultural environments.
• Hands‑on, proactive, solutions‑oriented with high resilience and analytical capability.
