Consolidation Freight Officer

About the role

The Consolidation Freight Officer supports UPS’s air cargo operations by managing pricing, consolidation and communication with airlines, service providers and internal teams. You will ensure shipments are booked correctly, track cargo, and resolve any service issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and consolidate booking requests with airlines based on customer SOPs.
• Verify compliance with airline and destination regulations when arranging shipments.
• Use internal operations systems to process booking requests across multiple functions.
• Coordinate with trucking vendors, airport terminals and airline agents.
• Track cargo and handle issues such as damage, delays, or missing shipments.
• Manage pricing and quotation requests with airlines and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• College graduate; degree in International Trade preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, coordination and communication abilities.
• Positive, proactive “can‑do” attitude.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
• 3‑5 years of experience in trading or freight forwarding is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
