Coordinateur.trice Sécurité et Accès (H/F) – Goma

About the role

The Coordinator for Safety and Access will support Solidarités International’s humanitarian programmes in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, ensuring safe and secure operations and facilitating access to vulnerable populations. The position starts on 1 September 2026 for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and develop security plans for field activities.
• Monitor and report on access constraints affecting program delivery.
• Coordinate with local authorities, UN agencies and community leaders to secure safe passage for staff and beneficiaries.
• Support the Monitoring & Evaluation team by providing safety‑related data and indicators.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on security protocols and safe access procedures.
• Maintain incident reporting systems and ensure timely response to security events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in safety, security or access coordination within humanitarian contexts.
• Familiarity with the security environment of the Great Lakes region or similar conflict‑affected settings.
• Ability to work in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with capacity to produce clear reports.
• Willingness to reside in Goma for the duration of the assignment.
