Country Finance Volunteer – Kinshasa

About the role

Acted is seeking a Country Finance Volunteer to support its humanitarian and development programmes in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. The role will contribute to the financial management of projects that address displacement, health crises, and climate‑related shocks, working within Acted’s mission to achieve a 3Zero World.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the financial oversight of multi‑sectoral projects funded by international donors such as the US Department of State, ECHO, FCDO and others.
• Support budgeting, reporting and compliance activities to ensure transparent use of resources.
• Collaborate with programme teams to align financial processes with humanitarian and environmental objectives.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify opportunities, adapt approaches and take measured risks.
• Balance of principles with pragmatism, and ambition with humility.
