Data Engineer

About the role

VectorOne is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the data pipelines that power its next‑generation financial solutions. You will transform raw, messy inputs into clean, reliable datasets that enable the company’s mission to reshape the office of the CFO across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and monitor ETL/ELT workflows that ingest and process operational data.
• Design and implement schema, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Create reusable data transformations using established libraries and patterns.
• Work with both small‑data tools (e.g., Pandas, Polars, DuckDB) and distributed processing engines such as Spark.
• Document trade‑offs, maintain clear code, and ensure data quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights.
• Ability to write clean, well‑tested, and secure code.
• Willingness to learn continuously and adapt solutions to current business problems.
