Directeur Financier (CFO) – Agro‑industrial Development

About the role

The organization seeks a hybrid Chief Financial Officer to lead finance, strategy and operational execution for Virunga Développement’s agro‑industrial activities. The CFO will translate financial and operational data into actionable decisions, improve the economic performance of business units and help structure new processing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a simple, robust financial and operational reporting framework by business unit, production site and product line.
• Analyse monthly performance – revenue, margins, direct and indirect costs, EBITDA, cash flow and working‑capital needs.
• Identify variances between budget, forecasts and actual results and propose concrete corrective actions.
• Produce analysis to support rapid decisions on pricing, volumes, costs, investments and commercial priorities.
• Develop clear dashboards using Power BI, advanced Excel or other suitable tools.
• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts in collaboration with operational teams.
• Support financing, risk management and stakeholder communication while overseeing the Chief Accountant’s day‑to‑day tasks.

Required profile

• Analytical, rigorous and results‑oriented, comparable to a senior associate in strategy consulting or corporate finance.
• Ability to work closely with field teams and produce high‑quality financial analysis directly.
• Experience in agro‑industrial or similar value‑chain environments is a plus.
