Director of Product - Agentic Financial Services Accounting

About the role

VectorOne is seeking a senior product leader to shape its AI‑driven accounting platform for the financial services industry. As Director of Product, you will act as the primary accounting subject‑matter expert, guiding the design, development, and validation of a next‑generation, agentic finance solution.

Key responsibilities

• Define business requirements, compliance considerations, and industry‑specific nuances for the AI‑based accounting platform.
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate accounting processes into AI‑driven features and workflows.
• Review and validate product outputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide strategic direction while executing hands‑on product development tasks.
• Serve as the bridge between technical teams and finance stakeholders, ensuring the product meets real‑world accounting needs.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial services accounting and deep technical expertise in the domain.
• Proven track record of leading product development for complex, compliance‑focused solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts as applied to finance.
