ELV & ICT Engineer

About the role

WSP is seeking an ELV & ICT Engineer to provide consulting engineering services for the design, implementation and close‑out of building controls, telecommunications and low‑voltage systems. The role covers the full project lifecycle from inception through design, procurement, construction monitoring and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Design and specify fire detection, gas suppression, CCTV, access control and other ELV systems.
• Develop structured cabling, BMS, fibre‑optic (Ethernet, GPON) and wireless network solutions.
• Perform fibre‑optic testing, GPS/RF/GSM‑DAS planning and Wi‑Fi/ LAN deployment.
• Coordinate project documentation, procurement and site monitoring, ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project handover.

Required profile

• BTech degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (SAQCC registration advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years of post‑graduation experience in ELV/ICT design for building services.
• Eligibility for Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng registration is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and self‑motivation skills.

Required skills
