Emergency Access Specialist (P-3) – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an Emergency Access Specialist (P-3) for a six‑month assignment in Bunia, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The specialist will support the national Ebola response by coordinating data collection, reporting and operational activities, ensuring that interventions are evidence‑based and child‑focused.

Key responsibilities

• Humanitarian access negotiation and monitoring
• Community engagement to improve acceptance of health measures
• Access monitoring and information management
• Coordination and operational support for emergency response
• Capacity strengthening and knowledge management for partners and staff

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in social sciences, public administration, law, public health, nutrition, international relations, business administration or related fields
• Relevant professional experience in humanitarian emergencies, preferably with exposure to health crises such as Ebola
• Demonstrated ability to work in insecure, logistically challenging environments
