Engineer, Trackless Mobile Machinery

About the role

The Engineer, Trackless Mobile Machinery will plan, organise and oversee all maintenance and service activities for KINGKI TM3 machines supporting mining production at the Kipushi Project in the DRC.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a world‑class TM3 engineering function and specialist team.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of TM3 machines to sustain mining production and business continuity.
• Drive effective problem solving, continuous improvement and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Integrate TM3 engineering activities with HSEQ, HR and Finance functions.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for TM3 equipment and related processes.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in mechanical‑electrical maintenance on mining machines.
• Proven ability to analyse problems, propose solutions and lead a technical team.
• Experience in a mining environment is highly advantageous.

Required skills

• Mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with electronics, hydraulics and mechanics.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Knowledge of DRC legislation relevant to mining equipment.
• Familiarity with KICO strategic imperatives.
• Brand‑specific expertise, e.g., Epiroc and KINGKI TM3 machines.
