Specialised Officer – Spare Parts Management

About the role

We are looking for a Specialised Officer to monitor, coordinate and control the spare parts of our smelter plant, ensuring that critical equipment is always available for uninterrupted operations. The role involves maintaining an equipment register, overseeing quality control, and responding swiftly to breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the smelter’s spare parts inventory and ensure timely delivery.
• Follow and improve Standard Operating Procedures for spare parts handling.
• Manage and update equipment and spare parts information systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance delivery, cost efficiency and transformation initiatives.
• Integrate HSEQ requirements into all processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in equipment or spare parts management.
• Experience in a mining environment is highly advantageous.
• Fluent business English; French is a plus.
