Field Coordinator – Central Africa Monitoring Project

About the role

The Field Coordinator will lead the implementation of third‑party monitoring activities across the Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Republic of Congo. Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Party, the role ensures high‑quality data collection, supervision of field teams, and compliance with security and technical protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all field research activities across the Central African Republic.
• Supervise remote field monitor teams, plan deployments, and enforce daily security procedures.
• Oversee training of field staff, first‑stage data entry, and data quality reviews.
• Coordinate site visits with implementing partners and secure access with local authorities.
• Provide first‑level data quality assurance, assessing completeness, accuracy, and veracity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least five years of experience in humanitarian, development, or transition projects, preferably managing field research teams.
• Proven experience training data collection teams and ensuring data quality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Fluency in French; advanced English preferred.
