Finance Officer (P) – Kinshasa

About the role

The Finance Officer (P) will support the Resources Management Officer (RMO) and Senior Resources Management Officer (SRMO) in monitoring and overseeing financial management for all activities of the Kinshasa Country Office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The role involves close coordination with the Regional Office for Kinshasa, the Department of Financial and Administrative Management at Headquarters, and the Global Shared Services Centre in Manila.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee financial management for all activities in the Country Office.
• Provide support to the RMO/SRMO in budget monitoring and financial reporting.
• Coordinate financial reporting and compliance with the Regional Office for Kinshasa.
• Collaborate with the Department of Financial and Administrative Management at IOM Headquarters.
• Work with the Global Shared Services Centre in Manila on financial processes.
• Ensure adherence to IOM financial rules and procedures.

Required profile

• Must meet IOM’s first‑tier or second‑tier eligibility criteria, including internal candidates and candidates from non‑represented Member States.
• Applications from qualified female candidates are especially encouraged.
• Eligibility to work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
