Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead all financial and fiscal management functions for the region, acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership. The role ensures robust financial governance, drives performance, and supports sustainable growth through comprehensive planning, analysis, and risk oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long‑range strategic planning.
• Analyse business performance, provide insights, and partner with functional leaders to develop operating plans and monitor KPIs.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to senior management.
• Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, manage tax planning and relationships with tax authorities.
• Design, implement and continuously improve internal control frameworks and risk‑management practices.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash‑flow planning, liquidity management and foreign‑exchange hedging.
• Lead and develop the regional finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a regional or multi‑entity environment.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership.
